In the Shining the young boy in one scene wears an Apollo 11 sweater and the mysterious room is has the room number of 237- the moon 's 238,000 miles from the earth (Foxx). Any person the number would not understand a correlation, but to a conspiracy theorist the number has great meaning. If 238,000 is divided by 1,000 the quotient would be 238 and 238 minus 1 is 237, which is the mysterious room number (Foxx). Another clue is typed on Jack Nicholson 's typewriter, a character from The Shining, that reads " All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" (Foxx).
