Anti television is known to be against the idea of television rather than supporting the idea.
We all know that television can be a huge factor in our lives, but the question we are asking is: Is it a good influence on our lives? or is it a bad influence on our lives?.

Meaning that the choice of words used in the essay would have to match the tone of the essay.
For example, When writing about something happy, you don’t want to use the words like : frustrated , angry , sorrow because that wouldn’t make any sense.
Stossel’s diction is accurate because as he is writing about being against television so he uses words like: intoxication , aggression, harmful and many more to describes his argument about television.
Watching too much television especially the violent show is referred to as “intoxication “ because the media brainwashes people.
After the intoxication follows aggression, which is the behaviour people get from watching too many violent shows.
Once it gets to the state of being aggressive; this can be a very harmful behaviour, which winds up leading to bullying, being abusive, and committing lots of crimes.
