As the author points out, this information merely provides information that is only applicable to mammals living in captivity, in a totally false environment. So any information gathered in this way is not applicable to the same species of mammal living on the natural habitats. The author claims out that these mammals can and have been very helpful to humans caught in dangerous and life threatening situations at sea, and also beneficial to fishermen in their work. These mammals are not our enemies; they do not deserve to be treated the way we are treating them, caging them up in small ponds, made of concrete, which severely limits their ability to move around and to even communicate.
