You started with how the wealthy was treated for their crimes, then the discussion of laws where changed because the area in which the crime was committed. Then there is how others handle the same situation the United States is dealing with and how they dealt with it. That way if you didn’tI stand before it’s more of a break down of how things really are and have been. Things need to change if someone no matter what commits a crime they should be punished the same way as the person. Money shouldn’t control anything if you wrong your wrong. They should also change some of the laws, our jail system is over crowed with people that need help more than time. This is also an effect on the legal system because some are getting less time or not at all because there is no room. If they were to release some of the dealers that are serving life and could be placed in a probation program, this could free some room for those that have done worse things than drugs dealers or addicts. So, when you read the examples of the different cases how they were all handled, you have to wonder about the war on drugs are really trying win it or does the government think if we just arrest everyone and place them in jail are they really trying to correct the problem.
