This book can connect to European History very well. This book wants to give more power to the people, and take the power away from the papacy and the church since they have had so much power, which makes them control what people do and how they should live their life. During the reformation area the protestants used this book to help them base their own life and government/ religion.

It was a very slow read that did not interest me at all so I really did not enjoy reading it. I would not recommend this book to anyone unless they have a project like I am doing because it is a pretty good book for that. If you are reading this book you have to be very patient while reading it and in order to possibly understand it, you may have to even read it very slow or just keep reading paragraphs till it makes sense. Even though this book was not interesting or entertaining I must say an Interesting fact would have to be that one of the first signs of an idea of democracy government was mentioned.
