I found the article The Dark Side of Emotional Intelligence by Adam Grant very validating as I’ve started to question the messages our society is bombarded with on a daily basis. Between what we read in the media and what our political leaders say, I wonder if using EI in a negative sense is more prevalent that anyone thinks. A few years ago I took it upon myself to look outside local and national media sources to try to get to the ‘truth’.
