Everybody experiences it differently in different intensities and therefore define it in their own way. What some consider unconditional love others may perceive as infatuation, abuse, or a devalued meaning. According to Google, unconditional love is defined as, “love without bounds, limits or reason; regardless of any upcoming circumstances or changes of either of the people involved within the relationship.” While love can be going above and beyond for a person whom someone has their feelings invested in, unconditional love is going above and beyond for someone regardless of who or what is making them happy. Unconditional love is loving someone regardless of their flaws and imperfections. Love is by far one of the most powerful forces in the universe. Some people spend their life looking for love while others find a high school sweetheart and spend their lifetime with them. Some people are fortunate enough to have experienced unconditional love at one point in their lives, most during childhood, while others spend their short duration of life looking for it. As a human being created by the Lord, we are often referred to as “children of God.” God demonstrated his unconditional love by sending his only son, Jesus, to die for our salvation. He continues to demonstrate it daily by continuously forgiving and loving His children, despite the times when we continuously fail him. People practice different faiths. Each faith prays and worships to different people depending on what they practice. Some people are faithless and live an atheistic lifestyle. Despite some people’s disposition towards God, He continues to love them unconditionally. We are children of God. As human beings in this world, we were each created in the image of God. God does not place conditions on His love for us. He loves each of us individually and perfectly. The Lord’s priority is that we receive his love to the maximum extent and understand that we are loved unconditionally forever.
