Men are also victims of rape which is a result of them surviving rape or attempted rape as they were a child. In fact survivors of rape or sexual assault are 4 times more than likely to be victimized by someone they know than by a stranger. At the age of 14, it has been reported that at least 25% of females have been victims of rape.
