The FDA regulates all foods and food ingredients introduced into or offered for sale in interstate commerce, with the exception of meat, poultry, and certain processed egg products regulated by the USDA.…

I have several friends and family members who either currently work or have worked at Johnson Controls. Indeed, each of them at some point in time, like you, mentioned the company’s dedication to ensuring its employees and leadership act with integrity. In fact, the ethical concepts of honesty, fairness, and integrity were mentioned by them and are outlined on the organization’s website (Johnson, 2015). As you mentioned, the mandatory annual training is part of what engrains a culture of ethical behavior within your organization.…

Do you think that there should be a law for restaurants and fast food places? Well my opinion we should because posting nutritional information, calories, fatness content, and even sodium products on menus would be a caution sign to me. You would have to be very careful if the food is healthy or not regardless. Labelings meals to me also helps takes charge in life because taking a risk on eating so many non nutritional food could have a huge destruction on your life it could cause to take away from being a happier person.…

1. You may ask what McDonaldization is. McDonaldization is defined as, “the process by which the principles of the fast-food restaurant are coming to dominate more and more sectors of American society as well as the rest of the world.” This paper will discuss two different cafes which conduct the same matter of business, however one business conducts more like the principles of “McDonaldization” compared to the other business which is a local café in Dubuque that is more traditional (has a less emphasis on the formal rationality). So my one McDonaldizated café is “Starbucks” and my other café is the “Rubix.”…
Board & CEO dynamics The starting point for exploring the dynamics between the board and the CEO is the determination of what kind of relationship it should be. The BoardSource states that "board chairs and CEOs who acknowledge that they are partners and make a commitment to a relationship of mutual trust can keep the organization moving ahead" (BoardSource, p. 251). Should the board "control" the CEO, or should it allow the CEO to control him or herself, but within board-determined "control" boundaries?…
