She took them finishing on morning. They snuck onto private property, stole a boat and saw the sheriff and his men singing and dancing drunk while in their underwear outside. They illegally caught tons of fish with a fish trap. Half of the fist were cooked for an extremely old lady whom grandma use to work for and the other half of fish were used to feed the drifters in the town. The town was against drifters and that night while grandma was feeding them the sheriff stopped by. He tried to put a stop to grandmas good deed. The Centennial Celebration was upon them. The bankers wife’s father was being honored for being the oldest person in town from the civil war. Joey and grandma set out on a mission without Mary Alice. They went and visited Uncle Grady, a Mexican war veteran, which makes him an older veteran than the bankers wife’s father. The set things up and return home, Mary Alice still no where to be seen. The Centennial Celebration was upon then and grandma takes Joey to the talent show, to his surprise one of the acts was Mary Alice, dancing with another guy. They were so wonderful they won first place! Joey couldn’t of been happier for her. Then later that day in the parade they set up their own float with Uncle Grady. This sets off a huge fight between the two war
