Do you ever wonder what’s in store for us in the future? Well, what we know now is a major hint to where we’ll end up in the future. They say what happens in the past shapes the present and in the present shapes the future. The company Google, creates new inventions all the time and is no stranger to this perception. Google Glass is one of those inventions that could change the way we view our world. Google glass will innovate our daily lives by providing things we did with our hands in just a glances reach. The novels Brave New World(Aldous Huxley) and 1984(George Orwell) clearly demonstrates worlds where innovations takes over society for the good and the bad. These novels took new advances to the extreme, that power was put into the wrong hands, blindsiding the people. Just like Brave New World and 1984, Google Glass presents these same problems and ideals that will bring us to a place where we don’t want to be. Just like both of those novels, Google Glass has sheep and it also has a lion.

Google glass gives the people easier ways to do normal everyday things, but it poses a serious security problem. Glass let’s people record, take pictures, and even broadcast anything without anyone ever knowing. For many people, these things would be a violation to their security, because you never know when someone is watching you. In addition, the problem rises when people actually do these things and posts them, therefore question is, is it considered invasion of privacy? On…
