The groups were decided at random, and I was placed luckily with two very close friends, Josefeth and Reyna, and Kevin, a student who did not have the best reputation for completing his assignments. I felt from the beginning that I might end up doing more work than Kevin, but I decided to trust that he would not let the group down when so many points were at stake. We began delegating responsibilities amongst ourselves and made progress as they days went by. Nearing the deadline, we checked on each others progress a few days prior to the due date. Reyna, Josefeth, and I had each completed our segments of the assignment, and Kevin had assured us that he, too, had completed his portion. On the Tuesday of presentation week, we began compiling our final presentation. We decided to piece together the final product on my school account. Both Josefeth and Reyna had sent me their work, and the only part of the assignment missing was Kevin's, who had not shown up to class. When we asked Kevin for his part of the presentation, he gave numerous excuses for not having completed any of his assigned work.
