The main character Jamie Sullivan, relies on the Lord for all her needs, and prays for her future husband. She has courage, and strength that she receives from the Lord. This book 's theme is that, miracles can happen, and dreams do come true. I don 't think that I would change anything about this book; it was great. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading Christian fiction and love stories.
The movie A WALK TO REMEMBER, starts differently from the book, it shows Landon and his friends drinking at a Water Plant, and someone gets hurt. He then is required to do things to help people and participate in the school play. In the book, he does all these things voluntarily, and does not get into trouble. In the book, he and Jamie visit an orphanage, in the movie they tutor at a neighboring school. They both end basically the same way with the wedding, and her wishes being fulfilled.
This book was very hard for me to put down. I finished reading it in 4
