The article, Rethinking the Work-Life Equation is about changing the normal traditions of work, management, and hours. Different types of experiments are analyzed, but the experiment in the TOMO paper by Kelly and Moen who are both professors are observed more. In this experiment there was a control group that worked under the company’s usual policy then the other employees would work whenever and however long as they want. The experimental group had to make sure the projects and time they chose would be met and complete. The finding from this experience is that the experimental group felt happier because they got more sleep, had time for themselves, and felt less stress. Also, the employees that had children also noticed the benefit their children gained from the flexibility in the schedule and it also made those employees feel less inclined to leave their work. There was facts and evidence presented from other reliable sources included in the article to support the argument, which makes Dominus’s article reliable. Dominus wants people to see the benefits people have from having flexibility in their work schedule and picking their times because it would promote workers that want to work longer, be happier at work, and feel less stress, which is good for their health. Throughout the article you could see the different logical appeals being used to effectively to gain more support in the Dominus’s argument. Expert testimonies, examples, statistics, and cases were presented throughout the article to gain more support. While, reading the article there wasn’t any bias that could be picked out and in most Rethinking the Work-Life Equation is very effective of getting the argument
