When on the internet we do not focus solely on a single task, instead we bounce around from page to page. This trend translates over to when we are not using the internet. It makes it hard to sit down and read whole book, or to write a whole paper. I use to read a lot of books as a kid, but as I have aged I find myself reading books less and less. However, I don’t think that means I am reading less than before. I think the way I read has changed. Instead of reading a long book, I read subtitle on movies or short articles. A lot of that has to do with my lack of concentration. I will start reading a book and get really interested in it, but I end up getting bored and just want to know what happens. I will just look up a summary of the entire book, on the internet, and just read that
