One of the arguments desensitization can be dangerous because it is jointly related to the pleasure of watching TV or movies. The act of watching TV is unlearned pleasure behavior. When you link that pleasure with violent images and content, then the person beings to pair watching TV with the consumption of violent media. What we see in movies and video games implement a physical response, but can this response be toxic? Is it true that violent content in entertainment can desensitize us?
