In my opinion in the argument of Nature v. Nurture, nurture has a greater effect on one's personality. Although we can be predisposed to certain characteristics and traits, I believe that with the right environment as a child you can change these things. While they might still be in you, you can grow up learning to choose to be who you want to be whether it be that your parents had temperament issues and you choose to try and be kind and manage your temper or if one of your parents was a sociopath and you are brought up to act differently and empathize with others and your environment.
