There are many possible errors that could’ve occurred during the lab. Some of these errors could’ve been miscalculating of the mass of the water, getting the wrong mass of the metal, and using tap water. Getting the wrong mass of either the water or the metal would throw off the calculation. The use of tap water could’ve had other materials in the water. This would’ve thrown off the joules calculations because water was only accounted for. Overall, there are many possible errors that could’ve occurred.
