A man in love with an OS? How Exciting! Spike Jonze’s “Her” is an enthralling film, set in Los Angeles, consisting of a unique relationship. Such relationship involves technology, which is created in the future. As Theodore is surviving his day-to-day adventures, he notices an advertisement regarding an OS. Intrigued, he finds himself downloading the software. When the OS names itself “Samantha” and begins communication, Theodore’s life slowly changes. Interaction with Samantha helped him deal with the negativity of a divorce. Therefore, “Her” is more of a love story, just cast in an interesting perspective within the foreseeable future. The film expresses links to Jason Farman and P.J. Manney in regards to whether technology for communication
