Soldiers' Stories consist of collective writings all recording personal experiences during their time serving the country. One story that stuck out to me was Timothy Gaestel's because it shows the side of war that we don't get to see through pictures or videos which are emotions like fear and panic. Timothy gets injured and takes his anger out on his partner who flips out after seeing his injury. We're so use to seeing soldiers working together because that is what the government wants us to see, making us believe that there are no tension or animosity between each other. This is proves that photos can not express the feelings that go on.
