A clear inference is formed in that adult males are much more likely to re-commit sexual assault acts upon others than juveniles are; while juvenile males are more likely to commit other crimes or “general recidivism” after being incarcerated (Id p.5). The research offered in this analysis does show that adult males are more likely to commit sexual assault recidivism, however, a more accurate study that closely follows the offenders is needed to truly understand what that rate is, in order for an accurate conclusion to be found.
