Another was the use of symbolisms that provided varieties of interpretations to the readers. Moreover, the actions of the characters did share very vital roles to inform its readers regarding the mystery of the death of Sepang Loca and the cry of the baby heard by Old Elena. It was also a question why Danilo, the son, was very isolated and aloof whenever villagers talked about Sepang Loca. Although it was not really emphasized on the story, still, it was a very good point to discover and share who is the unknown father of the baby.
