Rules by Cynthia Lord this book is realistic fiction
This author has not published any other books. If she were to do so i would be interested in reading them. one reason why I would be interested in reading more books by this author because i like the what she writes about. She writes about things people can easily connect to or have seen happening. For example in Rules the main character has problems with a little brother he is worried about making friends with the new neighbor and worrying that people will judge her for being friends with jason. For me being able to connect with the bookmark me want to read it more and makes it more interesting.
During the book it is summer break and the main setting is in Cathriens neighborhiood in

A major turning point in the storey is when Charrine ask Mrs moehouse for all of gthe notecards to illisrate. This rersent that cathrien thinlks of jason as a friend more thatn a ranome kid who she is doing a nice task for. this opens a wide varitoy of adventures for them to do ad friends. It also means cathriens has another disabeled person in her life wich was what she was trying to avoid. So itbrings questions of what she will do with the new friendship.
12. when Jason asked catherine to the dance and she said no and Jason Though that she was embarced of him and Catherine thought that she was protecting him from humility. This is a major turning point because you don 't know what will happen with their relationship which leaves the reader with alot of unanswered question and a lot of different ways this problem could play out. The book Rules stands out amongst other novels in the literary genre of children with disabilities. It not only chronicles the challenges that David, a boy with Autism, faces, but also illustrates his struggles from the perspective of someone on the outside, specifically his sister Catherine. The simplest abilities that most people take for granted, such as interpreting social cues and demonstrating appropriate manners, are the same abilities that people with Autism lack. This novel shines a light on how pertinent these capabilities are for living a so-called “normal life,” however, it also questions if having a “normal life” can always be a possibility. Catherine learns by the end of the book that although her brother David may not be like…

Gothic literature can be classified by various characteristics. These characteristics can show up alone in some works, but when they appear simultaneously, the work can be determined as gothic. “Jane Eyre” (I would just italicize instead of “ but you do you) fully exhibits these common gothic elements; however, another work that incorporates many of these elements is “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Although at first glance, it appears to simply be a fairytale, upon deeper inspection, there are certain elements tied into the plotline that, I believe, classify it as a gothic tale. “Jane Eyre” is a classic example of gothic literature.…

To understand the role of ECP (and, perhaps, neuroscience) in Goldman’s Epistemology and Cognition, it is necessary to first understand the justificatory structure of his J-rule (justification-based) and R-rule (rule-based) frameworks. Goldman understands that a justification-based framework is needed for three reasons: First, it may be the case that we have a purely intrinsic interest in when a person’s belief is justified.3 Second, an individual may be concerned with refuting skepticism, and because justification itself is often a means of combating skepticism, there is some warrant in determining when one is justified.4 Finally, an interest in justification may derive from an interest in knowledge.5 The R-rule system is warranted, he claims, on purely semantic grounds insofar as epistemological…

Whether it be a Goosebumps books or Mark Twain books you 'll go anywhere it leads you, but once I got into middle school and high school the books weren 't like that anymore. School books do have plenty of information in them, but they’re uninteresting to read. Not too many people want to get lost in a book about photosynthesis, they would much rather read a story about action and adventure. I do feel like reading the informational books for studies and homework did help when I would read them to finish my school work, but thats only if I could make myself read through them. Usually I would just skim through the book rather than read it word for word to get the main idea.…
