There were several different answers to that. A female said “I suspect that he might be gay if he’s looking at my eyes, and not down my blouse.” In Two Ways a Woman can get Hurt, Jean Kilbourne said, “When everything and everyone is sexualized, it is the powerless who are most at risk.” Powerless being, gay people in this case. Gay people are being seen as people who do not sexualize women so they are being seen as powerless because according to the article gay people are seen as powerless if they do not sexualize a women. Although, Michael makes fun of this idea and stating “why does he have to be sexual aroused by the women in order to not be gay?” I think this is a weaker point because Michael could have used a different example to explain how women might believe a guy is gay or not. When he asked the guy’s one said, “How he walks.” There are plenty of guys who walk feminine but are not gay. Better examples when interviewing people would have been nice to see. I think interviews are good evidence because when conducing several of them with good supporting questions and answers interviews usually make valid
