In the city of Verona, among the families of the Capulets and Montagues, a tragic story happened. It started from a young lady and a gentlemen’s curiosity about love, and many people died during the week. Young Juliet and Romeo also died at the end. Someone must be the blamed for this sad result as both families are demanding to punish the guilty party. The one will be chosen that has more guilt compared to others. Romeo, from the Montague, is the offender for the whole disaster that happened in Verona. The horrible death can be blamed on Romeo. He is an immature, murderer, and self-centered man. The Bible and Christians have a negative perspective of suicide. But Romeo had crossed the line. As he was too depressed from the news of Juliet’s death, he made a sinful decision. Can Romeo’s death be justified? Some people will defend for Romeo stating that the reason he killed himself was from the shock of his lover’s death. However, it will never be justified. From his suicide, two more innocent people have died. The result was too cruel and tragedy that somebody has to get the fault. Therefore, Romeo must be punished for this result. If Romeo was not going crazy after he heard the news, he could save Juliet and Lady Montague’s life. Moreover, he would not die in front of Juliet, who was just sleeping and acting dead. It is a normal thing to do. However, as they choose, they got responsibility for what they picked. Romeo is an egocentric man. Even though he made wrong choices, Romeo did not try to fix it, but made it worse. There was a confliction between Mercutio and Tybalt. Romeo tried to stop them in the middle. There is a real reason why Romeo wanted to stop the battling. He just got married to Juliet. He was so happy that he even said he will love the Capulets. But unfortunately Tybalt thrust Mercutio with a rapier (Act III, Scene I, line 85~89). The one who killed Mercutio was Tybalt, however, it was possible because Romeo tried to draw Mercutio. Before Mercutio died, he said “Why the devil came you between us? I was hurt under your arm. (Act III, Scene I, line 101~102)” He blamed Romeo about his death. Romeo agreed that he made Mercutio hurt, but he never said sorry. Humans ask for forgiveness when they did wrong thing. And it is also written in the Bible. It would end better if Romeo said sorry to Mercutio and went home. However, Romeo made bad decision again. He wanted revenge Tybalt. The person who tried to stop the fighting wants to fight now. He knew he should not fight in the street, but he was completely blind when Mercutio died. He made an unfavorable situation, killed Tybalt by his hand (Act III, Scene I, line 120~130).
