"Jojo!" Jiaying said for the sixth time, "Get up, it's recruiting day. Me and Jana are ready to go, so come on!" Recruiting day is one of the most important days of the year in Teranaya, the day that people twelve through forty years of age go to their assigned area of Earth and bring the people that have magic coursing through them to Teranaya where they belong. Teranaya is an empire in the galaxy Nature’s Eye, the home of element keepers and elves. Humans lived there too, technically, but most of the population there (except for in the empire Sanay where only humans live) was made up of eks (nickname for element keepers), and elves. They ended up standing in a room in the woods of Northeast Georgia, hidden by strong magic. Only someone with magic coursing through their veins could see or enter it, as the royal family of Teranaya wouldn’t want random people, random humans with no knowledge of Teranaya, seeing or entering the building which recruits are brought to before they teleport to where they will live for the rest of their lives. Inside there were two girls and two women. One of the ladies approached Jojo, Jiaying, Jana, Chlorina, and Marinalu while the other lady watched the two girls. "The redhead is Kimber, goes by Kim, and the blonde is Danica, wants to go by Dani," the first lady said, gesturing to the two girls talking on the floor. "Kimber is an Electricity Keeper and Danica is an Air Keeper. Kimber's powers are pretty well developed, but Danica's are a completely different story. Says her mom kept her locked in her room and would beat her for her powers. She can't control them at all; she's covered in bruises.
