Peter Langman’s article Rampage School Shooters: A Typology the person that came to mind was Adam Lanza. Adam Lanza described by the media as an awkward and disturbed 20 year old responsible sadly for the deaths of 20 first-graders, his mother Nancy Lanza, and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.
