(A) This passage explains how due to his accident Travis can never do what his father had done, along with what his grandfather as well. (A) This quote expresses how useless and terrified Travis had felt after being in the hospital for a few hours. He felt as he was nothing and just a waste of space. He didn’t seem to really understand quite yet what was going on, so he was just all confused and in a daze for the first couple days. Due to the way he had fallen and hit his head, Travis couldn’t remember anything from when the hit occurred and on. To him, it was all just a nightmare he hadn’t waken up from yet.
(B) Every time I read this quote I get more and more depressed. This quote is very powerful, and sends a lot of mixed emotions to the reader. Knowing that someone can feel so irrelevant to life and feel so un-wanted is upsetting. No matter what the situation is about no one show ever feel as there a waste of space. Everything happens for a reason, and sometimes those things are tough but nothing that happens is impossible to get
