The article discusses how Coke is expanding its “Share a Coke” marketing promotion started last summer with “Play a Coke”. Instead of personalized names, the bottles will have memorable moments like “First Kiss”. Consumers can scan the bottle with the “Play a Coke” app, and this will populate a music playlist that people can control by rotating the bottle. The “Play a Coke” app was developed with Coke’s partner for this project, Spotify. The article states this campaign is Canadian-specific, and will highlight popular Canadian artists.
