In chapter seven of the book, the author makes note of all the different types of games he has come up with throughout the years to help bring communities together. The author also makes note that most peace talks are not just simple hour long, one-time meetings. Instead the author talks about how peace talks are actually quite stressful between the two sides, and are long processes that actually takes years to work out. One realizes the end result is more positive because there is less bloodshed involved between the two groups. The author makes note of how great it is to watch as thousands of people come together for one cause and are able to march peacefully down the streets. One can tell that this was the bulk of the book and Buttry really wanted the audience to realize how beneficial and helpful peace talks, marches, sit-ins, and other forms of peaceful protests. Buttry wants the audience to understand that this is the best alternative to war and that violent actions should not always be the first to happen. Having read this after the Charleston Church Massacre this past summer, one can see that this city came together as a whole to try and end the racial violence that had occurred within the city. Charleston set a positive example that other major cities were not able to do when those cities chose violence over peace. By connecting this book with that scenario and the others own experiences within the book, one can see that peace is the only true way to go. The author is able to back up his peaceful intentions with passages of scripture from the Bible, and stating that Jesus commands his followers to love one another. Having never really read anything about peace activists, this book was very interesting to read. The author was able to shine a light on a subject that often gets over shadowed by the cloud of war within the war. Through reading this book one can clearly tell that there is still hope for the world and humanity as a whole. If more people were able to make peace the first option instead of war, one can infer that maybe
