The next day we decided to first head to the Museo Nacional de Antropologia. It was only $3.50 to get into the museum. As we walked through we got to see many artifacts from Mexico that were all the way dated back to 100 B.C. On our way to Zocalo we passed Teotihuacan which contains many pyramids which were what we saw when we drove by. This was very unique I had never seen a pyramid before and was a once in a lifetime thing to see. I wish time had allowed us to stop. Next, we arrived at the Zocalo which is also the main public square in Mexico City. We walked around the square for about an hour looking at the many different historical buildings that are around the square. Also, it was neat to see a huge cathedral I had never seen one before and all the details put into the buildings was amazing. After walking around the square we decided it was time to head back to the hotel and figure out where to go for dinner. After hours of debating over all the different interesting restaurants we decided to go to El Cardenal. This was an interesting experience I have a little knowledge of how to speak and read Spanish but my mom did not know any Spanish so we struggled a little bit. Once our waiter realized we had no idea what he was saying he was more than willing to help us understand and recommended very good food for us to try. We both were full after eating and sampling much different authentic food if you have never had traditional Mexican food you need to try
