Mrs. Earp and Mrs. Clay’s classrooms were well organized for the most part and were both nicely decorated, providing students with a positive learning environment. Both teachers maintained control of the classroom, however, Mrs. Clay did this while keeping a positive attitude and Mrs. Earp tended to raise her voice and single out students. However, there were several teaching methods I admired from both teachers. Mrs. Earp promoted classroom participation by handing out stickers to students engaging in the activity, causing other students to participate as well. Mrs. Clay encouraged students to work on their assignments by providing an incentive that upon completion, students were allowed to play on their computers. Overall, I learned many teaching techniques from this experience that will be beneficial to my future career in
