A stable country can and will lead to a prosperous country, and that sentiment is universally desired in NuCountry. A presidential democracy allows citizens to actually have a say in who leads their country, and a socialist economy gives everyone a decent standard of living. That decent standard of living may be seen as an insult to a small group of people, but to the large group of working poor it’s a blessing. Another key factor was looking at the prosperous countries of the world and how they serve their people. The second most voted options were for a dictatorship, a capitalist economy, and a unitary state. Quite the amalgam of a country we would 've been, no? Suffice to say, NuCountry would just not be on the path to prosperity we are on now. A dictatorship would have oppressed us all. A capitalist economy wouldn 't be the end of the world, but coupled with a dictatorship means the poor get poorer and the rich get richer.
