He teaches us how we are all connected through our actions. To make this world a better place, we have to treat everyone equally no matter what their looks, ethnicity, or race is. Instead, we should judge them on their personality. We should not scapegoat other people because of their race or ethnicity. We are all a part of a big constellation. If a light goes out, it messes up the constellation. It affects every star because then there is no constellation. As Donne says, “No man is an island.” Not one person is self-reliant, we depend on the people surrounding us. I agree with Donne of the idea that all people depend one another and we are all connected. We are all human beings and we all make up the world and we all create a community. We should not judge a person by their looks but by their content of their character. “No man is an island” is an important proverb which implies in our everyday lives. We depend one one another in multiple things and we are all connected to each other through our actions. If someone dies, we are all affected. We are apart of a continent. If one part of the land goes away, the whole continent is affected. Donne teaches us four important lessons in life that we should always remember: we are all interconnected through our actions and as a community. We must die in life. Affliction is something we should not resent. Finally, not one person is self-reliant; we all depend on one another to help
