Introduction
An analysis on the relationship between invoiced thought dialogue and perceived notions of communication. Through the understanding of body gestures a discussion of the latent meanings and contexts of individual, Naheed Nenshi’s interview with Calgary Economic Development, will be imparted upon. Alongside, matters pertaining to kinesics, the unconscious effect (of body language on others), and the juxtaposition of verbal talk to body expression will be explored.

Naheed Nenshi sporadically would put his hands in his pockets for a period of time and would move them out on the desk. He was constantly shifting, moving, pausing (his speech), maintaining minimal eye contact and turning his head. Alongside, Nenshi would emphasise certain words such as “United States”(1:24), “special”(1:40), “Japan”(1:48), “Canada”(2:21), “Calgary”(2:23) while widening his face and taking a pause afterwards.
