Describing this course to someone else, I would say this class is interesting and if you want to learn this class well, you need to prepare the Voice Thread and read the book carefully. To be honest, making videos on Voice Thread gave me a unique experience. I still remembered the first time I made a video on Voice Thread how nervous I was, I was afraid to have different ideas with other students and worried if they disagreed with me what should I do? But later I realized it was good to have different ideas, from different ideas we can discuss to each other and this is a good way to help us think deeply and understand the characters and plot better. Because of her race, Lila Mae had no choice but to study in the closet. This showed the extent of racism as well as the lack of gender equality. This scene touched my heart and I felt pain and powerless about this. Moreover, this make me have a thinking that why race make us treat people such different? The racism is a wrong way and what should we do and how can we change this situation? We are currently encouraging people respect each other and say everyone is equal, but there still exist discrimination for woman and race in our society. I think this scene in the book “The Intuitionist” is pivotal because from the heart of the author, he appeals the equality and this gives a positive effect on that
