In the tear jerker movie of the summer, Louisa Clark and Will Traynor, fell deeply in love on the big screen in, Me Before You. In case you missed it, here’s what you need to know; Louisa and Will, two mid twenty adults, are both from a small English town. Will is from the richest family, which is probably why he is always out traveling, and Louisa never leaves town, always working to help her family live day to day. Louisa, otherwise known as Lou, is a lovely, type A, outgoing girl who is constantly being described as having potential. There is always a silence when this is said to her because she knows she is stuck in the quiet town, with no real sense of direction. Never letting herself get too down, her focus is to work in order to support …show more content…
In the movie he even mentions how bad he desires Lou, to have sex with her, to be with her, to make love to her. But he knows he can’t do that, ever. Instead Will is pushed around, fed, cleaned, and dressed by Lou, who doesn’t mind due to her oversized heart. Lou is soft and sweet, how girls are supposed to be. Lou is very secure in their relationship. She knows what Will feels for her, is real and genuine, and never worries that Will will leave her. Lou is so secure she doesn’t mind when Will’s ex comes around to visit. Will on the other hand doesn’t feel good enough for Lou because of his disability, in fact, he constantly urges her to go show somebody other than him how wonderful she is. Lucy Honeychurch is a very quiet young lady, who rarely speaks her mind. This is due in part to her fear that she will misspeak and offend someone with no intention of doing so. Even though she does not express herself through her words, she certainly reveals her emotions through her piano playing. She does not simply hit the right notes to play a song; instead she plays certain works of music to show her feelings, both good and bad.…

Loma’s characterization as a spoiled brat will continue to make life even more challenging for all the characters in Cold Sassy Tree, including Will Tweedy and the newlyweds Rucker and Love. It’s understandable that the age gap between Loma and Will would cause them to not be very close, but their disconnect is due mostly to Loma’s spoiled nature. Will describes his immature aunt in the quote “I just couldn’t stand Aunt Loma. As long as I could remember, she’d bossed me like I was her slave. She was only six years older than me, for gosh sake, which to my mind didn’t give her any right to lord it over me like I was a hundred.…

    Story Of An Hour

In the opening of “The Story of an Hour?” by Kate Chopin, we are introduced with the death of Brently Mallard whose wife, who also has heart trouble, is about to hear the saddening news. On the other hand, in the concluding paragraph, the doctors conclude with the wife’s death from heart disease, “of joy that kills”. Therefore what is ironic is the fact that in the end the wife turned out to be dead and not the husband, Mr. Mallard, although throughout the story Chopin made it seem as if the husband was dead. The discrepancy in the story is that Chopin had said that the husband had died in a railroad disaster, which as we now know was false, while the wife’s death turned out to be indeed true. Moreover, in the introduction, we see also see…
