Serve cold, it's a different taste but something that was quick and satisfying, now that being said, what has Quaker oats came up with, in the last few months? A container that has the mixture to create your own overnight oats, just add milk and refrigerate! Ta da! My point is since this is such a basic need every food company tries to capitalize on something new. Of course, it's not just breakfast, companies are trying to gain our attention for every single meal. Accordingly, the next step is warmth.
Since warmth rates very low as a primary need, small blankets (throws) seem to be a very popular gift, with new ones showing up in the store every single year. Everyone wants to feel warm and when someone gives you a blanket you can't help but think of them when you cover up, just like last year when my husband was in the hospital my boss brought me a small blanket that was warm and fuzzy, I slept under that blanket many nights and in fact even now, my heart is moved when I think of how grateful I was for that blanket so many nights.Nothing like being, cold, hungry and scared to make you feel alone and unloved, covering up with that blanket made me feel better and took away some of my …show more content…
Gum, mints, and mouthwash all appeal to our need to feel fresh and clean to attract a mate. Many of the advertisers' tricks are really appealing to an inner desire to be wanted and needed and be attractive to others.
As far as the highest level, the headless professor (2008) seemed to think it was religion that satisfied that need, but there are so many people that don't seek to be a part of any organized religion so instead they would look for activities such as perhaps hobbies, such as woodworking, poetry, art, needlepoint, crochet, stained glass or pottery any of those satisfy a creative desire that I think most of us have. Moreover, I have heard that in this phase people have a more philanthropic outlook, so volunteering and giving to charities which will satisfy the desire to give and help others.
In conclusion: Manufacturers and marketers are always trying to develop new foods and products, even services to satisfy whatever physical and psychology need humans might have, by studying consumer behavior we can have a little more insight into what those needs and desires
