Monument is a kind of the architecture for people to memorize the history and understanding the relationship between the past and the present. It records the history from the past, and present it to the future. The purpose of building the monument in the city is for reminding us what we have right now is depends on how many effort they (historical personage) did in the past. Monument is not only for people to memorize something, it also could be educational and motivational to the audience.

One of the human sculpture was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, stepping forward and holding the paper, try to deliver his dream and speech to the world. The other three human sculptures were allegorical characters, and those allegorical characters was surrounding the main sculptures, which the Martin Luther King Jr’s . Each of those allegorical characters were symbolize to the different meanings. On the left side of King’s sculpture was a man rolling his sleeve up and he is symbolized to the working class of the our society. On the right side was a little girl releasing her hand from Dr, King’s coattails, she is presenting the moment when family members are called away to devote their time and spirit to something significant to all mankind. , Dente has began the road of being a sculptor when he was four years old. His favorite toy was chunk of clay and he used it to create the world. Right now, he dedicates himself to create outstanding sculptures, as well as historical and religious figures. In particular, Dente has been working with various places, such as churches, schools and different places across the country and around the world. When he was creating “The Dream” to King's sacrifices, he wants to deliver the message to those who believe in King's dream, and to the "ongoing march for truth and justice." (Dente)
