Our most influential leaders are often seen as strong individuals that can surpass any tribulation. Our very own Martin Luther King was seen as a heroic man who was strong enough for an entire nation. King was not only a preacher but a political leader who guided his people with peaceful and dignified tactics. The play The Mountaintop allows its viewers to see a vulnerable side of King and understand his difficulties as a leader. Everything that made King a leader and an influential being is through his sense of community and respect for one another.
