Iowa Burns Argumentative Essay

Mark’s Twain supposed to have a lost sweetheart by the name of Iowa Burns. This considers a critical situation because Mark Twain and Iowa Burns were sweethearts, but the story really states it. At the age of sixteen there was a photograph of her with Mark Twain’s name on it. Twain lived nearby her family at Keokuk Iowa. Just because you lived by a person doesn’t mean the two were sweet hearts. The time don’t add up because when Sam Clemens became Mark Twain Iowa Burns sister Minnie supposed to have had the picture, but she was only nine years of age. There was a man name Anthony was less educated and couldn’t spell properly and spell Elizabeth Iowa Burns first letter of her middle name incorrectly. Maybe this could have cause her to be older than she seems of younger than she appear to be (Donnell, 2015). I truly believe it’s a big misunderstanding the whole situation. When someone asks him again about Iowa he claim he might know her. Sam meet different women in his lifetime I believe you had to be special in order him to remember an individual. This story is still predicting that Iowa fits the description of her who knows. Iowa compares to Laura Wright because the two like to wear ribbons. Sam like girls who wear ribbons most girls do. Still really don’t say that Iowa was a sweetheart. Olivia finally accept to marry him he loved when his finance wear the ribbons. She stops wearing them and twain fusses at her. Mark Twain was a bad man when he is on the road. Mark would draw interest with women with ribbons. All the ladies Iowa, Both Laura’s, and Olivia look alike in their own way.
