Lululemon Marketing Strategy

My marketing objective for my 2016-2017 lululemon athletica advertising campaign is to get more brand awareness for the men’s clothing department. This section of the brand tends to struggle more than the women’s department because as many women know, most men are stuck in their ways and most likely will not want to be associated themselves and what they wear with a brand that carries a feminine name. Also, lack of awareness is making the men’s department at lululemon athletica struggle. In my marketing strategies, I want to pinpoint how comfortable and casual athletica’s men clothing line is. My advertising objective for this campaign is to produce four advertisements focusing on men’s athletic wear within the brand and three of them being a part of traditional media. The three types of traditional media I will use in the campaign are: a television ad, a magazine ad, and a radio ad. The one non-traditional advertisement platform I will use is social media advertising. This campaign will have the hash tag #luluMEN attached to it to cluster all the social media posts of the campaign so that consumers can follow and stay updated with how the campaign is running. The theme of this advertising campaign will be manliness. I think the problem for most men who do not shop at lululemon athletica is …show more content…
It will be toward the beginning of the magazine to catch the readers’ eye faster. There will be a thousand copies made of this issue but will only appear as a one-time ad in the December edition. This ad will mainly be advertising a specific men’s hoodie, that lululemon athletica carries, as a perfect gift to give for the holiday season to all the men in peoples’ families. The model in this advertisement will be a famous star, such as Dwayne Johnson, to bring even more popularity to this item. The theme of this ad will continue to show the manliness and comfort of this

Two weeks into the Internship my supervisor Mitch Ellison and I had a meeting where we discussed ways to promote the men’s soccer program more. I told him a few ideas that I had in mind, and he gave me permission to try them out. One of the ideas was to make highlight videos of games that we had won and put them on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to possible attract more fans. He put me in charge to be the official editor of our Facebook so that I can put the videos on there. I also told him that we should have our players involved in promoting the team by making them to put our schedule poster around the school and to share the highlight videos, and team events on their social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instant Gram.…

During the hiring process male nurses encounter more difficulties than female nurses even though, both might have the same level of education, experience and qualification. Compared to women, men have a limited of places where they can apply to, which medical field is open to them, and where their employers choose to staff them. In some hospitals, employers refuse to hire men that want to work with infants or where they have to come in close contact with women such as gynecology, and some “policies actually barred men from certain jobs such as birthing and women’s surgery units” (McMurry, 2011, p. 24).
