Paul and Luke meet each other in Traps after Paul had a vision in Troas of a man telling him to go to Macedonia and help around the year of 51. They travelled together to Macedonia, Samothrace, Neapolis, and Philippi becoming good friends, and then Paul was thrown into jail.
While Paul was away, Luke stayed to encourage the church in Philippi for seven years until he leaves to join Paul in Troas in the year 58. This time they travel together through Miletus, Tyre, Caesarea, and Jerusalem which Paul greatly appreciates. Luke stays supportive of Paul while he is in the Roman jail in year 61. After Mark, Aristarchus, and Damas abandon him, Paul says that all he has left is Luke, who stays supportive of him.
Luke had a spot in the heart of many of the females around him because of his many skills, kind and loyal ways, and his devotion to God and Jesus Christ. Luke is the only one that entails story like the one about the Prodigal Son being welcomed back by his father, who is overjoyed to have him back. Also, the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, which disrupts the feast. Every story that Luke tells of a sinner who wants forgiveness has them receiving mercy God and Jesus.
Luke was such an intricate part of history because of his many skills, loyalty, devotion to God and Jesus Christ. Luke has books in the Bible because of his story telling and accurate detail of places and people, so God saw it fitting that the works of Luke should be in the Bible. God is known for forgiveness, multiple chances given, repentance, and patience which Luke showed through his life because it was in his heart.
Luke’s ability as an artist allowed him to detail people and object, instead of only verbalizing them, which does not suit others as seeing an image. With the presence of Luke, there are some sorts of images of many of the icons, such as Virgin Mary.
