Most of America’s problems have very little to do with America. This could be attributed mostly to aliens immigrating in an unwanted progress. Many of those who do not support illegal immigration do not support it whether or not it is illegal. It’s instilled prejudice that is passed from down from generations. So that in this fashion, America has always been hostile with foreigners, this is nothing new. During the 1900s, Americans feared immigrants, who were here legally, because they did not believe in their culture. America has always been antagonistic toward those who were culturally different. Kurt Williamsen wrote an article on immigration that speaks mostly on how to rid them, and completely evaded purporting the reasons why they should …show more content…
This has nothing to do with the “harm” they pose, but the prejudices of white men who hope to only bolster white supremacy. Everyone fails to mention that the KKK is a terrorist group, still active, and we are focusing on ISIS because no one places any value onto black citizens or citizens of other colors. The truth is grim and perplexing, we simultaneously pass amendments and laws to bolster immigration, yet we critique there every move; and if one person of the race is to cross us, then the whole race is “lazy, disgusting, violent, and unintelligent.” The Center for Immigration studies (source D) states that “... two “magnets” which attract illegal aliens are jobs and family connections…and numerous American businesses are willing to hire cheap, compliant labor from abroad.” The reason why many illegal aliens come to America is, succinctly, not to take our jobs but to find better jobs, the taking is inadvertent. Every day you hear about corruption, no matter how badly American citizens want them deported, it is much safer and better here, in hostility and bitterness, than in their homeland. Michael Scott, (source C,) states it acerbically with “one look at the ravages of illegal immigration is enough to make most Americans sick. At least 40 percent of the nation’s 6 million illegal immigrants are here… and the horrendous social costs just keep rising. There are 408,000 illegal immigrant K12 students to educate at a cost to California taxpayers of approximately $2.2 billion annually, for example. Never mind that these students can’t work, drive, or vote once they graduate, unless they obtain fraudulent documents.” Michael Scott’s diction is not only bias, but hurtful. He uses “ravages” as though they tear everything apart and destroy everything, Not to mention that he did not cite his sources and when I searched online for the answer, it was estimated at above $761 million. Moreover, if American were so financially worried, why not arrest the men on Wall Street? The same men who tell you whom to fear are the ones with the knives in their
