Virtue ethics are different that other ethical theories because it is focused around a person’s character instead of their actions. Their actions reflect their character. Virtue ethics lead a person to ask what kind of behaviors should become habits or ‘second-nature’ for a person to do and what moral exemplars would do in a given situation. A moral exemplar is a person who has been a very good example of what it would look like to live a virtuous life. Despite what could be seen as making the right decision based off of which spring break trip would bring the most overall happiness, she was not fully into being there in Haiti and may have not been as likely to work as harder as the other people working on the rebuilding. Some objections that could possibly be made against the theory of virtue ethics view would be that Tim felt obligated to help in Haiti, but grew up to know that others come first before anything else including himself and his
