In the section the progress principle, it stated that pleasure is getting what you want. It includes your dream of getting a promotion, being accepted in a high ranking school, and finishing a big project. These goals derives from happiness in being relief that you can enjoy. Although in some cases it may work, but it will not really make you happy in anyway. One thing relates to me is the pursuing your dreams in making you feel happy is not always easy in some cases takes time. Happiness is like a video game since you are trying to reach your goal by levels. In each levels you go to gets harder and happiness tends to decrease. Not always you will be happy if you tend on bribing people or influencing people with money and authority you are not achieving happiness. I agree that happiness comes from the inside not everything from the outside. If you believe that whatever makes you happy is right then continue if not just stop. True happiness derives from your heart and the wisdom from philosophers and so on. In the end of this semester I will finally learn that happiness is something you obtain it is something you already have. In some cases happiness is probably people you love or something you are passionate about. Besides in the end everything you do is part of your love not
