The story begins when Lisa got a phone call from a coast guard that changed the lives of Lisa and her family. Jimmy, Lisa's brother is lost at sea without the trace of his boat and his employee, Josh. As there is tense of Jimmy's disappearance. Lisa parents, Gladys and Albert flight to Namu, this is where they believed Jimmy had disappeared. As Lisa experiences, many flashbacks regarding Jimmy and her childhood. The flashbacks intertwined with her present life and how the memories lead to her life now. Many of her flashbacks also include Mick, who was a joyful person and other flashbacks where people are reminded and things she had seen, but nobody else had. The memories gave her feelings of uncertainty, where they felt like dreams connecting to another world.
