Jeffrey Nicholas owner and CEO of Funky Hydrographics is an unconventional leader. His management style is helpful to the team. His management style is Consultative. (David Markoff) once said that “he is a high-maintenance co-worker" (Mark Off, 2011), who demanded excellence from his staff and was known for his blunt delivery of criticism. But it was his sheer genius combined with his ability to articulate his vision and bring staff, investors and customers along on the journey, plus the lessons learned in a major career setback that made it work. The results: unquestionable.

Laissez-faire is a business which managers leaves their team to get on with their work and they delegate a leader to. Laissez-faire is used when managers have a lot of work and so they have someone to keep the whole team on track. The benefits of this is personal responsibility for employees, contribution to development, and improving the confidence and motivation of staff.
