I have two brothers, which makes me a brother; I have two great parents, which makes me a son; I am in college studying business, which makes me a student; and I have wonderful friends, which makes me a friend to some. But those can’t just define a person, what truly defines someone is their ambitions, their desire to obtain overall success. Whether it was interning over the summer or selling things I didn’t need on eBay, I found a way to include the world of business in my free time. Much of what I learned related to the opportunities I took in high school and my free time. For example, I interned at a local politician for the last 2 summers and was given a significant amount of responsibility, whether it was using spreadsheets full of voter data, or advanced payroll setup, I was working with business in some aspect. Same goes for some of my other extracurricular activities, for eBay I had to manage my books to make sure I was being sent the correct amounts as well as charged by eBay correctly. These activities allowed me to learn a lot and accumulated with the knowledge I got from my parents, I am very well informed in the subject of

Autobiographies and biographies have many differences and similarities at the same time. The contrasting and comparing styles the authors used, the features of the books and the view that it gave me personally were each somewhat different for each of the books. After finishing the books Prepared for a Purpose by Antoinette Tuff and Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas they gave the insight to see that these two genres were similar yet unalike at the same time. The question of whether ambition is positive or negative is a debate that is still discussed to present day. Ambition is almost always the downfall or the rising of a person. It is the drive to want to accomplish the things that might seem out of reach. The author of The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald, wrote about the lives of a few very wealthy characters who thrived in the 1920’s, some as a result of said ambition. Christopher Beha responded to the novel with a quote stating that the novel was about the impossibility of self-invention and the childness of a hope being delivered in adulthood that was once held in adolescence.…
