“The truth is that I do not know how to will the table to move, I do not know what I am supposed to be doing. For I can only will what I have to learned to do. If I can now move my arms at will, that is because I have learned to do so early in my childhood. However we learn the influence of our will from experience alone. And experience only teaches us how one event constantly follows another.” (Stops reading) That was from Ilham Dilman’s Love and Human separateness. A truly wonderful book if you are interested. Hugo: Yes but, not right now. Right now I simply want to be next to her.

Nurse: We will have one of the doctors speak with you once you finish with your visit. I’m so sorry Mr. Marco, please know we are doing everything in our care to help Marryann.

Hugo: Yes, yes, I’m sure. (He pauses) thank you. I will be finished
